This was the first list of 35 Pokemon allowed for July of 2024, however as we are celebrating the 1st Year Anniversary of 35 Pokes the mods of the community have decided to allow the playerbase to vote in a public form for the most iconic Pokemon of each month from the past year. 12 new Pokemon were added to the allowed list!

OBSERVATIONS AND Meta Development
July initially brought many strong setup sweepers and powerful breakers like Cloyster, Torterra, Slurpuff, Venasaur, and Mabosstiff. However the “DLC” helped to reduce the hyper offensive nature of the tier with strong defensive Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Chesnaught, Dondozo, and Alomomola.
After the DLC, the biggest point of interest has been Gallade! With 125 base Attack and the ability Sharpness, Gallade is able to break any Pokemon in the tier. Many players in the 35 Pokes community think it should be banned due to how centralizing it is in the meta.
Spotlight of the week
Item: Mirror Herb
Mirror Herb is a powerful item that gets consumed when an opposing Pokemon gains a stat boost, this will copy the stat boost and raise the stats of the wielder. The start of this month was filled many setup sweepers which made this item have a moment to shine!
